Est. 2014 · Schaumburg, IL
Custom, museum-grade framing for the pictures you'd grab in a fire. Designed in your living room, milled by our crew in Schaumburg, on your wall in seven days.
Why we exist
Big-box frames are stapled-together pine and acrylic that yellows in a year. We build the kind your grandkids will inherit — solid hardwood, joined and pinned by hand, UV-shielded glass, and conservation-grade matting. Same price as the gallery downtown, none of the wait.
White oak, walnut, maple, cherry — milled from FSC-certified North American hardwood. Joined with mortise corners, not staples.
99% UV protection and anti-reflective coating on every frame, not a $90 upgrade. Museum glass available for the heirlooms.
Upload tonight, hung by next weekend. Free, fully insured shipping with hanging kit and a clean unboxing your mother-in-law will compliment.

The collection
The process
No appointment with the framer downtown. No four-week wait. We've spent ten years making the heirloom-quality custom framing process as easy as ordering a book.
Drop a phone photo, scan, or high-res file. We auto-check resolution and crop to size.
Pick a frame and mat with live preview. Stuck? A real human framer will email you within 24h.
Our Schaumburg workshop mills, joins, and finishes your frame. Printed on archival cotton paper.
Arrives in a week, with a hanging kit, level, and instructions even your dad can follow.
The shop
Every frame is hand-finished in our 1890s mill along Salt Creek. We employ twelve full-time framers — most of them third- or fourth-generation woodworkers — and we pay them, not algorithms, to obsess over corner joins.

What people say
"I priced this against the gallery near my house. Same wood, same glass, half the price, and a week instead of six. I framed eight photos for what one would've cost."
"Framed my late grandmother's only formal portrait. The packaging alone made me trust them. The frame itself — heavy, perfectly mitered — made me cry."
"As a photographer, I've used every framer in the city. Legacy is the only one I trust with client deliveries now. Clean install, perfect mats, and the lifetime guarantee closes deals."
